Milesimé

2013

Xarel·lo · Macabeo · Parellada · Chardonnay

Our most unique cava has been made using grapes from old vines of the xarel·lo, macabeo, Parellada and Chardonnay varieties, which provide this cava with its well-known complexity and elegance. It rests in the winery since February 2014, hence it has been aged for at least 48 months. Its disgorging and finishing is done by hand by our oenologist, ensuring that each unit that leaves the winery will transmit the delicacy and subtle complexity of a lovely long aged cava.

This cava is of a brilliant gold colour, with a very fine, delicate and persistent bubble which forms a crown. In the nose it provides complex aromas, with a notable presence of dried, toasted and smoked fruits. In mouth it is fine, very tasty and elegant, with a soft and prolonged aftertaste.

Pairing

This cava can be savoured on its own, gradually discovering its different nuances acquired through the long ageing or can also be accompanied by high-cuisine dishes, foie, seafood, oily fish, stews, casseroles and rice stews.
